First muscle car ....
Sean (BossKraft) started this thread on his Facebook page. I thought it was interesting to find out what others have owned over the years.
Yes I know it had Simmon(d)s on it (those wheels never got sold with the car & now reside on a 69 Mustang convertible that a friend owns ..... :rotfl:

Sadly I don't have any photos of cars that I had back in the day. When I started buying recreational cars again a few years ago this was my first "muscle car" (I guess a 240Z doesn't count).
Factory K code XB Fairmont GS.

Bullshit, they were great cars. We rallied a 260Z & I drove a Nissan E20 van that had a 240Z engine & box in it. Was Nissan's chase car for the service crew & it hauled ass.ponyride wrote: (I guess a 240Z doesn't count).
Friend of mine has a really nice one, brings it to breakfast every so often, locals may even get to see it at Cars & Coffee http://www.mustangtech.com.au/Forums/vi ... =4245.html ......

Re: First muscle car ....
Something I dont usually advertise, but my first V8 powered car ( at the time I was young and foolish and thought anything with a V8 was muscle)
was a 1962 Dodge Dart.
This thing was painted bright pink with blue scrolls down the sides and sat on wide rubber with deep dish chrome mags.
At the time I was a member of 1 NZ SAS Group based in Papakura, and the Dodge was my daily driver. Used to turn a lot of heads when I arrived in camp each morning and got a few strange looks, but no-one ever laughed.
