I purchased it in 06 straight off the boat. It had a very slow 302w, c4 and and 8inch lsd with 3.8 gears, standard exhaust manifolds and a twin 21/2 magnaflow exhaust, it was loud.
First thing to do was replace every single suspension rubber, arm, as there was no rubber left.
Then I put some worked heads and a cam in to liven it up, followed by some pacemakers.
After a while I was sick of the 17 inch whaeels and always wanted some convos, so on some convos I go, not content on the lack of power, I built (with a lot of help from cve performance) a new 331 stroker with twisted wedge heads, large cam and single plane manifold with a 750dp holley, I also installed a 3000 tce converter.
It dynoed at 210rwkw, then took it to calder and ran a 12.04 quarter with my auto slipping.
I then got the c4 rebuilt to handle more power.
Next I needed more power, so I bolted on a weiand 174 supercharger., I also installed a 3800 converter.
Which brings me to now, I decided to change the colour as theres now a few shades of yellow on it and chips.

Nice work. It is also good to hear the story and history of a car.
Your enjoying the hobby - the way it should be..

Out of interest, did the 174 make much difference to the built 331 ?
Any changes required or was it built with the intent of adding the blower ?

Hi, it was built knowing a blower would be added. Before the 174 I had 208rwkws and with the blower and bigger carb I have 300rwkw, theres probably a bit more in it but the fuel pressure gauge was playing up so we keeped it on the safer side.

Very nice. With over 400 HP at the rear wheels - it will be a handful. Nice work also with the engine bay - looking very neat.
