Parking brake

Post by Equus »

Hi guys,
still playing with my new arrival :-D
I does not have a functioning parking brake . The rear section and the front cable is present, but the equalizer rod/bar/spring are missing. That is under control. What is baffling is the location of the underbody clip that holds the front cable. it is currently just sitting there attached to the cable but not to the underbody.

Does anyone have a picture of the correct attachment point or a schematic .
Thanks I hope i have been clear..

Thanks Kerry.
Attachment point is shown quite clearly.
i will see how i go.
That area of the floor pan looks a little worse for wear. It has one big dent immediately above the collector for the longtube header . I wonder if the handbrake equalizer mechanism had been ripped off - or did it foul on the tailshaft and the previous owner removed it?
