Braidwood Run 15th June 2014

Hello all,

Jason (of the black Corvette) is having a car get toether this Sunday with cars from the coast and surrounding area in Braidwood. The opportunity is for any Mustang owners to go for a run to Braidwood this Sunday.

If interesetd we can meet on the LHS of the coast road (just past the roundabout Yass Rd Qbn, near Spotight) at 9.15 with a view to leave at 9.30 arrive 10.30.

We will meet the other cars at the park near the cop shop main street Braidwood. Good opportunity for a run, coffee (good bakery main street) look at model cars and real cars.

Please advise if you are interested in going. If it is raining I won't be going.

I think that was planned for last weekend but got canned due to the long weekend. Next one is at Brodburger on the 21st. I have been known to be wrong before ...!

Isn't Braidwood a bit close to the coast for Mrs EF. You know, salt air, rust etc....

I came back from the coast in my non-mustang car last weekend.

You might like to know that there is two large areas of un-tarred road (gravel and dirt) due to roadworks that made a real mess of all cars travelling to and from the coast on Monday (It was raining on the way home though). My blue car ended up white and needed a good wash on monday arvo.

Be warned, if you go, you may get very dirty cars.......... but then if it doesn't rain, then it might not be so bad. Might still be dusty and a bit rough.

I won't be going, it is my daughter's 10th birthday

Thanks ACTstanglover for the heads up. its the Canberra side of Braidwood that has the road works is that right?

yeah, it is just past the Tarago turn off, down to 40km/h and about 5km this side of braidwood where they are putting in an overtaking lane and also down to 40km/h

Nuts is not back yet, is due back from memory at the end of the month. Then we will all get our pressies

They were watering it on Saturday to keep the dust down.

Thanks for letting us know it has been cancelled. Maybe Brodburger next week to see the new purchase then...
