66 vs 67 door locks

Need help on paint, paint prep, welding, engines etc?

66 vs 67 door locks

Are they different in diameter? If so, I've got the wrong retainer clips :rtfm:

What clips do you need?

Is it the key locks you are talking about? From memory the key locks are a different diameter.

If it is the door lock mechanisms, then yes, they are totally different.

Its the key locks. The metal retainer clips have broken that hold them in the door.

Oh well, anyone need some 67 door lock retainer clips? :lol:

Ok I will do you a swap. Looks like pre 66 might not be available without buying locks too.

I could only find 67 ones from CJ as well nassi.

Its a bit confusing but in my catledog they list HW1550 as 65-66/67-70 retainer 4.99ea, also works on trunk lock. The other is HW2453, 67-73. 3.99ea. Only 1 picture though.

Hmm... on the website they look very similar, though one is missing the dimples.

The 65/66 look a lot different to that.
