69 CJ build and other cars

Post by MaxPower »

Some of you will know me from elsewhere. Some of you I have never met so here is me.

I brought this about 4 years ago.

It all went to poo and is now something like this

So we bought this to make up for it a bit

I've done bugger all except collect bits for the rebuild. So far I've picked up these.

Awesome looking 69, such a tough looking car! I hope you get it back together one day!

As for the 66, such an innocent looking car, should look great with those parts in the engine bay. I look forward to seeing more!

Cheers, Shayne and XP!

And g'day, Andrew! Yep, I've never really popped my head in here. I'm not the political type, or even the club type for that matter, and it was suggested that here was pretty laid back. So here I am.

And I think so, another horse on it's way so I think she is all happy now. I think...time will tell. I really hope it does.

Cheers!

Welcome - you will fine this forum (and hence the people) just enjoy their cars, doing their thing - no external pressures.

Nice stable - look forward to seeing the build go forward on the 69 (and others if you wish to post about them).
I will someday think of something clever to say.

Cheers, ND. I will do! If I had of been a bit smarter and hooked up with a local, I probably could have saved quite a bit of time from getting lost so often. Even with the GPS, I managed to be in the wrong lane or miss the turn way too many times.
Still, it was great fun hooting around in the new to me big block!
