Looked what jumped on the trailer today!!

Post by 69candy »

International AL110. 1949? No motor or box. About F100 size, 1-1-5 tonne I think? Still don't know why or what to do with it!! Chassis is straight and solid. Cab is pretty good, got all its glass, grill? bonnet is straight. Just got to get a tape measure out!! Have a few ideas!!

Hmm Inter I think it needs a Mopar then under the hood. We had some when I first joined Telecom in the 80's and they had 318 fireballs in them.

Don't really like Jeeps but love this guys idea and the workmanship. Always look forward to updates.

Maybe something like this, Candy?

I know a Toyota guy who could help there. You see him floating around here a bit.

Plenty of stuff getting XR turbos put in them these days too. But expect to pay $5k and up for a complete damaged turbo FG.

He might come in handy!!! Not much info of the ls400's just they are a strong engine. not a lot of go fast bits. Thinking I could use the front and rear end as well, but have not looked into it to much yet.

That Jeep one is interesting, not sure how strong that front end would be like that though??

The Jeep build has a lot of information and in-depth posts. I stumbled across it one day and spent the next few days soaking it up. It was great. So much forethought and skill development. You can see there is no rush to it and the outcome is not the purpose. He's purely doing it to learn and enjoy.

Any progress with the project?

I did something similar. Way too premature with the stang still so far off. My wife is sure letting me know so too.
