Where to buy fuel line in Brisbane

Post by lukep6470 »

Hi,

I'm looking to replace my braided stainless fuel line with hard line. I'm thinking 3/8 steel over alloy. Does anyone know where to buy some in Brisbane?

What are peoples opinions of steel over alloy lines for EFI?

Yep - I got my lines from Bursons, fuel and brake.
I will someday think of something clever to say.

Great thanks. Probably worth adding to the EFI thread.

I know it's off topic, and you may know this already, but for the earlier model stangs, if you don't want to make your own lines, you can use 69/70 model fuel lines. The take a different route, along the subframes instead of the tunnel, but end and start at the same point as earlier mustangs. They are also 2 piece, which makes fitting a breeze(only had to remove the rear wheel).
Not only are they are a direct fit, but they are 3/8 too. Makes replacing them easy in the future too as they are a standard part.
I'm using 2 for my efi motor, one for the feed and one for the return.

Good idea - especially for the people who do not feel like bending the tube to shape.

BTW: When I did my feed and return I also run it mainly along the inner path rather than the tunnel. It worked out well - one to the tank and the other to the Swirl pot.
I will someday think of something clever to say.
