My VW project

I bought a classic VW for my daughter - it needed a bit of work to get it ready for xmas.

RTFM :rtfm:
I didn't want to, but the wife insisted. And of course following the instructions was the WRONG thing to do, because the instructions told us to put the motors on the opposite way to what I wanted and it went backwards when it should have gone forwards. So the thing to take away from my experience is - do NOT read the instructions. Ever.
Although I guess I'm preaching to the converted here fellas.

High powered dual motors and rear wheels fitted. I hope these tyres aren't expensive because I'm going to teach her to do skids.

Screwing down the motor mounts with high tensile 500HP rated self tappers.
Damn my garage needs another clean (and some more storage).

Yeah good idea... I'll have to pull it apart to see what model they are. I know they are 6V x 2. I might have to accidentally buy bigger voltage ones

That's pretty sweet! Are the wheels rubber or plastic?
