The tinkering is never done!
Had a custom green Shelby style console for the EXP with the standard 2 holes, decided to do a custom Jarrah veneer over the aluminun base and add a third spot for a mechanical temp gauge I had that matched the SW repro ammeter and oil pressure gauge, as we all know how exact the stock temp gauges are...!!!
An afternoons "enjoyment time" after the work week.... next to get it installed and hooked up!

I have been building my Console for a few hours a week - taken months for me to do. Getting closer now. I also have used some of the veneer you (Mert) provided to me.

A question for you, I'm looking for the copper tubing for the mechanical oil pressure gauge, to fit the Stewart Warner gauge. Know a source locally? Most the kits I see are "new and improved" nylon, which will only yellow, get brittle and it ain't as good as copper to me. And I want the OEM/old school look...
The one I have "works" but is all bent to %&^(* after the shipper wound it too tight, kinks and twists I'd prefer not to see in the engine bay. And I prefer not to reuse the olives... any tips appreciated.
I think it is 1/8" tube but not sure, looking into that this weekeknd...

Used to be a place called Flexi drive Mert they used to sell the copper line, or try a MG/jag parts dealer. Someone like XK-unlimited in the US would have these for the old XK sports cars etc. Or Jag-daim down south may be worth a try
