Another update and more hours burned fixing things.
There's still some outstanding issues with one of the biggies being PM's.

I'm slowly working my way through the issues and things that look different, but real life calls too so be patient.

Your efforts go above and beyond gee off and are much appreciated......

Having said that the 'New Post' link crashes with the result showing the PHP code.

New topic you mean? Is it fixed now?

Most of the smaller visual issues are sorted.
PM's are still broken until the devs get back to me.

Ok I think we've got the PMs sorted now too.
You should see all your old PMs again now.

Edit: yes you can see your old PMs, but you can't see any new ones you might send/receive.
So please don't use PM's again yet. I've fixed a couple of the issues, but there's another bigger issue I think.

I have found a way myself to get the PMs working again.
If you received a PM in the last day or so, it would have been assigned a date of 1970, so it will be right at the end of your inbox.

I am going to fix that now.

Ok, there were three PM's sent during the "broken" period, which I have now fixed.

They will all show a time of "Sat Apr 02, 2016 9:40 pm" now. Note that this is not the real time the PM was sent - I can't tell exactly when it was.
