New glass.

Post by 66STNG »

Hi,
Justing putting out feelers for new glass, I need all 8 pieces.
The front screen appears easy for around the $280 mark.
I found a glass manufacturer in vic. They quoted $963 for the rear screen, windows, quarters and front vent windows.
Has anyone bought a full set and if so how much..
P.S to buy from the states is close to 2K....

That is a good price. The US glass will not have the correct logo's on it & by the time it arrives, you be able to have it all in a bucket .......

Yes, I did like jigsaw puzzles, but I think the glass ones would be hard to put together...
I thought it was good price VEHGLASS Australia,
Just seeing if anyone has used them, or got a better deal..

I bought a "full set" for my 65 notchback a couple of years ago in factory green at Cooly Rocks.

$1,500 delivered from the GC to Brisvegas

I thought he said that the FB rear windows were always a bit dearer.

Cheers

I didn't think it would that much for a rear glass. I need a new one but that is pretty hefty. Can you get scratches out of glass?

That was the price for all the glass other than the front screen.
