Upgrading to 3/8 fuel line in a 66, motor requires it. 66 has 65 convertible torque boxes fitted. Can I run a 67/8 2 piece line? i'm unsure about the routing of the 67/8 line when it gets around the front chassis rail extension.
If you've done this what line did you use?
thanks

Re: 3/8 Fuel line routing
Run the 69/70 line (you have to punch a hole through the LH torque box) as it runs a better route than a 67, so away from the heat of the headers.

Ok, easy enough to go through the torque box. thanks

Re: 3/8 Fuel line routing
As Kerry said run the 69/70 lines. I have them on a 65 coupe. Their start point and end point is actually the same as the 65/66, so apart from the torque boxes and drilling some holes for some fuel line brackets, it's plug and play.

So then Darrell, how is Fester looking? Have you started the re-assembly yet?

Buy some tube in a roll from Bursons (as an example) and run the fuel line any where you like...
I will someday think of something clever to say.

Thanks, 69/70 route sounds fine. Now Nuts no attributing nick names to it yet. Paid the painter a visit today and its coming along, just needs a final buff and some small parts done. It will be back home end of next week.
