Damaged on boat trailer

Something to be aware of when putting your car into the hands of others, apparently the owner put it on a tilt tray and somewhere along the trip it was put onto a boat trailer. Looking at the track width, this is probably not legal so it pays to check with whoever you're getting to transport your car as to how they go about it and maybe get something in writing that they won't do anything like this.

Yep, that boat will never be the same again.

Poor LC/LJ - crushed by a boat.

A friend mine crushed LC no 1 on the wall at MtWhite (Sydney) in the rain coming back from Newcastle.
Used some of the parts to build LC no 2 (v8 this time) and it got crushed going up the ass of a big falcon. So every Torana I ever build is dead. Was fun building them though.

Looks like the outboard fell on it?

My dad always used to make a steel support for his ski boats that went from the back of the trailer (usually the rear roller mount from memory) to the leg of the outboard.
It's not all that good for the transom having a 200HP engine bouncing around everywhere.

I imagine these big 4-stroke engines would be even heavier.

Looks like a near perfect match for the V of the hull... OUCH!

It does.. maybe wasn't the engine then. Maybe the winch let go, or it wasn't attached properly.

Nah, just goes to show the Torana was built to be a boat anchor.

(I actually like the really).
