Howdy. I have set up the coil resistance wire in my 67 coupe project so that it triggers four relays, the electronic ignition, thermo fan, electric choke and fuel pump. In turn all devices are feed via battery from a 100amp bus. All cable used is of sufficient gauge to handle capacity.
My question, is the 600ma current draw from the relays to high for the resistance wire circuit? How much current does an ignition coil draw?
Thank you in advance for your time. Paul

Re: Coil ignition resistance wire.
Your not even pulling 1 amp through the triggers for the 4 relays.
The standard car was running a coil which would be drawing something in the order of 3 to 5 amps so it is a non issue.

I will someday think of something clever to say.
