So I learnt a bit of a lesson on Friday morning

Post by lukep6470 »

Don't climb mountain roads (Samford Valley to Mt Nebo) in an EFI car with no baffles in the tank and no swirlpot with only 1/4 of a tank left.

It got a bit puckering when the engine started to cough on the twisty bits miles from a servo.

On the bright side I put another 100 miles on the motor before work. Only 300 to go!!

Good story - this is why I have a full on swirl tank with dual pumps (lift pump to the swirl tank and high pressure to the rail). Glad your putting miles on the car.
I will someday think of something clever to say.
