Windscreen replacement sydney

Post by Husky65 »

Hey fellas,

I am replacing my windscreen through Shannons. I can use my own person to do the job instead of Obriens. Does anyone know of someone around sydney who is all over replacing mustang windscreens. Prefer a home job but can travel if they are time efficient with their install.

Thanks

Not being a Sydneysider I have no direct experience but understand they are the go to place in your neck of the woods.

If it is not his area (many travel all over Sydney) then going to him would be a option as Husky implied. I know the installer is quick and knows the older cars (has done quite a few for Stephen).

I use a local guy at Camden. Obriens have been to my place a few times on customers requests but I was never happy with the job and on 2 occasions broke the screen. I have been fitting windows for almost 50 years and have broken 3 installing in all those years. However I no longer do work for insurance companies.

To close this off, the fella that St Mary's use couldn't come out my way, and only works out of his vehicle.
I was given another contact of a fella name Alan, 0409 643087, who lives on the central coast, but comes down to sydney once a week to replace older vehicle windscreens. Used to a own a few mustangs, so he's all over it. Did a fantastic job, can hands down recommend him. He also straightened some of the molds I had, as well as removes and preps any surface rust around the windscreen frame.
Can't believe how clear my windscreen is now
