RHD steering

Hi ,
I need help identifying what parts were used on my 67 coupe when it was converted to RHD.
The previous owner wasn't able to tell me when i bought the car many years back.

Ill attach some pictures to help with the identification.

Also what i do know is the following:
Mustang stub axles
Mustang outer tie rods
steering column is mustang.
Idler arm IS NOT xw/xf ( was told XF so bought new one and it was sloppy as hell)

Dont know:
Steering box
idler arm
drag link
inner tie rods





Any help is greatly appreciated

On a good conversion the drag link is cut and re-welded. So custom in affect regardless of origin. It should have a number ground into it that represent the certificate number for the xray test of the weld.

Geezers jbb, you come up with this stuff while I am away .......

I could compare with bits I have at Duggo. Looks to me like that drag link is Falcon and if not modified, would bumpsteer badly.

I cannot see a pic of the box?

Car drives and steers beautifully.
conversion was done probably 15-18 yrs ago.

engineer wants me to say what the bits are.
suppose i could tell him anything and he wouldn't really know

That is a one piece box and column. So prob XP Falcon (I think XR was 2 piece but if 1 piece I would go with XR)

Draglink would be XR to XT manual as they were the closest to the 67/70 Mustang rail dimension and suapension. XP and earlier was closer to the 65/6 Mustang suspension.

I used an Xy Drag link and cut 12mm out of each end, then bent is to get it at the correct height. I used John Greene's jig. The Idler looks like early falcon to me which you cant get generally, they only sell XF type which has a bigger hole in the bush for the drag link pin. I think the pin changes at XA or so, I suspect it XW XY. Mustang autoparts would have them, but most supplier say one size fits all. Steering box is falcon of course.
