CLEVELAND ENGINE

Post by 123abc »

having a chat to a guy at our yearly car show and and I was told that a good streetable and reliable combo for a clev is 351 crank with 302 rods .
any thoughts and what pistons to use as you need short deck pistons but im having trouble finding them online

If you built two engines both identical with only rod length (and piston height) different you will not notice any thing.

Now - go get a 408 stroker crank kit.
I will someday think of something clever to say.

F'me Boof, 408 again. I am going to build one just so you can get it out of your system mate. Do you want to tell me how to do it all again like last time, I have forgotten everything now. Hehe

Nah, one day maybe. I would like to go through it again though with you. A lot of fun.

Agreed a lot of fun observing building that engine of yours.
