Help with roof bows

Post by 66STNG »

Hi guys,
Looking at installing the roof liner in a 66 coupe. Problem is there are 2 holes next to each other that the bows go into. I have trawled the net with no luck.
So do I use the top hole or the one slightly below.???

First things first.... Make sure you put all your screws in for sunvisors, mirror and coat hangers etc to make it easy to find them later. When I do a headline install I use the higher holes. Others may use the lower. The front bow is tight against the roof even without any lining.

Thanks nuts, I willl use the tops holes then. I wonder why there are 2 different holes? Maybe the lower ones are for midgets?

I think I'll stick with the midget theory.
