torque wrench

Post by smh00n »

I need a smaller - 5 to about 25lb - torque wrench.

Any recommendations? I have a Warren & Brown full size which are supposedly the best but do I need to go the same for a small one? Kincrome and SP have ones that wold suit but dubious on the quality

Kinchrome currently have a digital adapter that allows any socket to become a torque wrench. Not sure on the range though, it may not go that low.
As for the quality/accuracy, that will be dependant on the calibration. Years ago in the service we used to calibrate every torque wrench monthly, these days I doubt they ever get calibrated once they leave the factory.

mmm Sidchrome is pricey. Warren & Brown is $150 less for the same thing.
Isn't Sidchrome questionable on quality now?
