Do I buy an ebay screamer https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/589-PC-IMPE ... 2624876403

or a decent POP PNT210 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Qty-1-Genui ... 2619424308

I need the imperial POP version so it will have to come from US as no one over here seems to keep them.

Probably put 30 odd holes in the Stang to mount stereo amp, fuel pumps, and that sorta stuff

I have had no problems with the cheaper ones using up to m8 nutserts.

I have a good quality one and a cheaper ebay special, $27 - the same as in the first pic below. The cheap ebay special jams up if you are not very precise about tightening it all properly after swapping fittings because it uses left and right-hand threads. They list them as handling up to M8 (5/16"), but I have found they struggle with an M8 aluminium nutsert and have no hope of putting in steel ones. The good quality one I have handles 10mm steel nutserts.

I think the $54 ones (below) on ebay would handle M8's better.

If you are only doing 20 or 30, this one would do. The POP PNT210 are $250 so you would want to be doing a lot.

I bought the ebay screamer set

and first use with 1/4 UNC was fine, clamped up nice and tight.

Worth the 100 bucks

Love my rivet nuts! So much nicer that using screws or bolts with nuts.
Mine is a Teng Tools one.
