66 steering set up with rack and pinion

Post by 66STNG »

Hi guys,
Getting a wheel alignment on the mustang.
Just read the post on set up, is there any difference to the set up as I have rack and pinion right hand drive...everything else is new but stock.

No difference. Get them to check for bump steer. If they don't know what that is, take it somewhere where they do.

Thanks Kerry,
I spoke to a few, who seemed a bit vague, the guy I booked it into seemed knowledgeable. It’s hard to find old school mechanics, that know anything about these old cars. I’ve learnt more from you and the rest of the guys from this forum than any other, so called professional.
