Oh and the smile has been on the face all weekend - I'm just stuffed now, so the face is a bit tired - been cleaning it and fixing small stuff all weekend, but it's been lots of fun though!!

Just need to do the following before LO2 and roadworthy certificate.
1. Brakes - bit worried about the old drum brakes - they dont feel real crash hot and think it may take 300 - 400 hundred bucks to get it sorted. wondering if I'd be better off putting it towards disk brakes on the front.
2. washer bottle is missing bits - like all the tubing, the spray jets and not sure if the foot pump actually works - so I might just fit up a new after market electric one and mount a button on the dash in an out of the way spot.
3. purchase and mount a matching side mirror for the passenger side door.
4. purchase and mount new rear vision mirror - old one is sh1t.
should then be all good to go !!

This is all making me feel younger and brings back some old memory's of doing up my first car - which was a big pile of holden poo (old 67 HR special station wagon) man talk about a rust bucket --- still had a lot of fun in it though!!
Also having fun getting the kids involved in this mustang - great stuff!!

Wow that looks real nice , is your daughter old enough to drive because it looks like she is quite happy behind the wheel , could be dangerous

That been the funny thing all weekend ...she cant drive it for at least another couple of years - while she's on her P-Plates ..so she's be openly saying she wants me to leave it to her in My Will ......I think l'll sleep with one eye open for a few nights ..she's starting to mess with my mind!!
