Mate of mine has a caravan and he's worried about it being taken from his driveway or from a campsite when free camping.
There is no reason that these won't work in a van is there?

As long as the van has 12V power available it will work fine.
The tricky part (no different to a car) will be finding a place for the GPS antenna that has no metal between it and the sky.

If it is a newer van then that is often not a problem. Many people have opted out of the cladding and go with the fibreglass.hybrid wrote:As long as the van has 12V power available it will work fine.

Yeah I thought about that afterwards. I'm not sure the last time I saw a metal van being towed.
