Hmmm, love them both. Drove a MGA back in my teens, my older brother owned one, however my girl at the time did not really like that type of car, she was into Mustangs.
Got of a mate of mine he was building it as a Hill climb race car. Grant used to pit crew with Dick Johnson back in the True blue Falcon days. Most of the running gear was built at Dicks work shop, billet flywheel, alloy diff, engine balanced / blue printed, Wade supa charger. Anyway Grant was getting divorceed so I ended up with the car, turned it into a quick road car. Used to have 10in 3 piece Mawer wheels on it and flarged gaurds kind of like a Cobra.
I've had it about 22 years

Note the Koni mod on the rear instead of the lever arms. Front end is MGB, 4 speed full synro OD box, LSD rear. Engine is a 5 bearing B engine 1800 + 020, shot peened straight cut rods, hand made molly puch rods, steel timing set, currently running 2 x 1-3/4 SU on a flowed O head 11:1 comp. THe head for the blower ie 7:1 with nimonic valves, hydrual guides, Iksy grey & white springs. The running gear has probably only done 8000km

(PRAYER) Oh thank you Wild Turkey American Honey & Cola in those small thin bottles, for giving me the strength to act like a half wit, and say stupid things at inappropriate times, semi-anonymously, on a public forum.
Amen.
Looking amazing mate. I totally love the E types. Any pictures going? Especially the front and that lovely dash.
Question - was the "British Collection" a conscious thing? Or something that happened by hap-stance because you like the lines on both of the vehicles?
