Re: Time to start my rebuild project

Finally got to fire up the engine this week, only done a base tune at this stage to set up ecu and test the injection, seem quite eager and really responsive. Found I have a misalignment issue with the pulley system I made, I think the pwr steer bracket maybe flexing under the tension, so I'll have ...

swaybar recomendations

So one for the suspension guru's,
Looking for a front swaybar for the 69, just a street car with the occasional track day.

now has Shelby drop done. also do I go for a 1" or 1 1/8" , I know bigger isn't always better.

Re: "Theoretical" Brake System Comparison

from what I found out, as the rotor enters past the smaller piston first the clamping force increases slightly as the rotor passes through the caliper past the larger piston, and apparently more even pad wear compared to full pressure on entry and possibly tapering the pad wear. I'm sure Charbel can...

Re: "Theoretical" Brake System Comparison

it will be interesting to see how mine perform when it hits the street, although the original brakes on mine were pretty shit so any upgrade would be a positive, but mine are front rotors 350mm dia, six piston calipers with 28,30 and 32mm pistons, and the rears have a 330mm rotor with four piston ca...
